Ensuring your iKnow data is safe and available when you need it is essential. We've spent the last 15 years developing software and ensuring that information is secure and reliably stored. We also have our software externally tested with a penetration-testing company.
Data Encryption
All personal data and uploaded files are encrypted at rest.
SSL Connections
All connections to iKnow Church are made over TLS (previously SSL) ensuring that no one can access any of your sensitive data. Our certificates use TLS 1.3
Our Servers
Each account has its own database to ensure that data is only available to that account and that data is properly segregated from other accounts.
Our servers are only used to host iKnow clients and the server space is not shared by any other Companies. Data is stored in our London data centres and is at no point stored outside of the UK.
User Permissions
With iKnow, your Safeguarding Lead controls who can access the different areas of iKnow. There are powerful access controls built into iKnow to ensure that only the right people can access your data.
Backups
We create backups each night and our retention period is 9 months.
